Use Natural Health Remedies for Your Pets, Too. |

Relying on natural health remedies instead of prescription medicine can be a way to avoid some of the nasty side effects associated with medicines. If you have a condition that is not life threatening, look for alternatives to treatment by using natural health supplements. These generally have no side effects, and do the job effectively.
Pets benefit from natural health remedies, as well. We have used a number of products effectively for our pets that came from the health food store, not the vet's office. For example, a new pet came to us, having been exposed to ringworm, but showing no symptoms. Needless to say, the other cats got the ringworm, so instead of spending $100 on a traumatic visit to the vet and getting expensive prescriptions, we ordered an herbal remedy. The natural healing herbs in the product we used for the ringworm was liquid, so we mixed it in with their wet food, and the ringworm vanished over night. That is so far superior to the vet visit and the creams that we would have had to apply to struggling cats. |
